Our statement on DEI:
The PIONEER Collaboration is committed to fostering an equitable and inclusive environment that supports all members in their research. We recognize the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in physics and we are committed to cultivating a culture of respect where individuals are valued and supported, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.
To this end, we are committed to:
- Promoting an inclusive environment that enourages open communication, mutual respect, and active collaboration. A Code of Conduct, signed by the PIONEER institutional board, formalizes our commitment to maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Maintaining an active Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee tasked with developing policies to advance diversity and inclusion within PIONEER, monitoring the collaboration’s performance in relation to DEI, and providing resources to support new members of the collaboration.
